The park Parque de el Oeste is located a few miles from the city center of Madrid. The park houses the "Templo de Debod", an egyptian temple built around 200 B.C. The temple was rebuilt in Madrid Spain in 1970 -1972 after egypt donated it to Spain as a tribute of gratitude for their efforts in aiding the conservation of the Abu Simbel temples.
This park is located a near to the Royal Palace of Madrid and from its higher elevation visitors can look over the city, over looking the city edge, it's outskirts and the early palace.
